“I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side.” — Psalm 3:6

As we step into October 2026, this powerful promise serves as our anchor. Every single day, we stand in the valley of decision, figuring out how to respond to the heavy circumstances confronting us. But we do not face them alone. Lord Jesus has not left us orphaned; He has given us the precious Holy Spirit. This is the very same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus on Earth as He navigated unbelief, violence, betrayal, greed, and the rampant acts of the sinful nature. “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21

The Battle in the Mind– Whenever we are at a crossroads and have to make a decision, we often hear thousands of voices. Voices of fear, insecurity, and absolute negativity. Make no mistake: these toxic thoughts are evil spirits aiming to completely crush our faith. They are relentless in attacking your mind, desperately trying to load you down with guilt and a heavy yoke of sadness. In those moments, it truly feels as though tens of thousands have been drawn up against you. But even in the midst of that intense confusion… seek the dear, precious Holy Spirit. When you intentionally involve Him, He will go to work on your behalf and lead you to a higher plain then your enemies where you can see the battlefield clearly and get an edge over the enemy. Do not fear those thousands of negative voices echoing around you or inside your mind. The Holy Spirit is infinitely greater, wiser, more powerful, and above all, true and faithful! He will never leave you nor forsake you.

In this new month, let us first pause to thank the Holy Spirit for fiercely guarding our lives and the lives of our loved ones from both seen and unseen dangers. So much happens in the spiritual realm that we never see, yet the Holy Spirit constantly defends us. There have been moments when our strength was ebbing away, and moved by the Spirit, we cried out with desperate tears. Those prayers ascended straight to the throne of Jehovah, and in His great love, Lord Jesus answered with overwhelming mercy. Beloved, take time to thank the Lord for His goodness, and invite the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth.

A Testimony of His Higher Ways– A few months ago, my dad had to undergo surgery. Due to political situations completely beyond our control, my mother was away, and my siblings and I were stranded at a distance. None of us could physically be by his side. In that deeply challenging moment, I sought the Holy Spirit for guidance. Surprisingly, the Lord clearly told me not to travel. It was hard to believe this was the Holy Spirit’s voice, so I inquired again. The answer remained the same: Stay put. I waited. Soon, a morning came where my dad felt incredibly lonely, uneasy, and was struggling with his recovery. While meditating on God’s Word, I began looking into travel dates out of sheer desperation. But God already had a plan. Moments later, I saw a WhatsApp message. A professional nursing agency we had contacted earlier had located a local nurse right near my dad’s house. She called him, chatted with him, and stepped in to help. When I phoned my dad shortly after, his voice was filled with happiness and deep satisfaction.

The Holy Spirit’s strategy was entirely different—and infinitely better—than my own plans. He kept me from traveling because He was already dispatching professional, medical care directly to my dad’s doorstep until our family could return. His ways are truly higher!

Walking in Victory This Month- Let this testimony build your faith today. Lean completely on the Holy Spirit this month. When enemies of fear, anxiety, or impossible situations draw up against you, remember that the Helper is already working behind the scenes on your behalf.

May His divine presence comfort, guide, and protect you throughout the entire month of October. The Holy Spirit is infinitely greater, wiser, more powerful, and above all, trustworthy and faithful! He is the truth, there is no falsehood in Him.
