What does the Bible say about the Name ”Jesus of Nazareth”
I am sharing three instances below from the Holy Bible.
- What the crowds called Him: Jesus, knowing all that was coming upon Him, stepped forward and asked them, “Whom are you seeking?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered. Jesus said, “I am He.” And Judas His betrayer was standing there with them. John 18:4-5
- How the demons addressed Him: Interesting… uh? Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue: “What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!” Mark 1:23-24
- How the Lord introduced Himself: I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?’ “’Who are you, Lord?’ I asked. “’I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied. Acts 22:7-8
Yes, the name “Jesus of Nazareth” has immense power. It is very well known in the spiritual realm. Use it in worship and thanksgiving and to whip the devil 🙂
