Surely there is a future and a reward, And your hope and expectation will not be cut off. Pro 23:18

Do you have prophecies or dreams or a word from heaven that has not as yet been fulfilled even though the time for its fulfilment appears to be over. By “over” I mean, there was a time which you thought was just right for the fulfilment, you were so excited, very hopeful and couldn’t wait for it to happen. But then somehow, it never germinated. Nothing happened. You were left hoping, praying, fasting, discouraged and in-pain. Years went by… but nothing.

Through this post I want to encourage us and remind us- you and me, that Lord Jesus is first of all truthful. He is the truth. Lord Jesus is reliable, trustworthy, dependable, delivers what He has promised, sane, wise, all powerful, all knowing, forgiving and very loving. His Holy Spirit lives in us. So, don’t spoil your testimony by feeling discouraged. Continue to fight the good fight of faith and don’t hang up as yet. You are so close to your reward… almost there. Year 2024 is yours. “Arise and Shine”

Lord Jesus is trustworthy because He is truthful. Lord Jesus confessed in front of Pilate that He is a King even though He knew He will be ridiculed. Refer Luke 23 where Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Yes, what you say is true.”  He just cannot lie. So, if He has promised you something then it will happen. The best examples of it is found in the Gospels. He spoke a word and deliverances took place. Consider the case of the leper who approached Lord Jesus for healing. Our Saviour was willing. He did not reprimand or rebuke the leper. Instead He said “I am willing.” Gospels tell us about the character, attitude and mindset of Lord Jesus. And the healings and deliverances in the Gospels are one of the best ways to relate to Lord Jesus. They portray Jesus’ nature.

Lastly, I want to remind us that Lord Jesus is a miracle worker. Even if all looks against you, you will make it because of Lord Jesus. For “Thine is the power.” There is a supreme power to which all spirits (good and evil) have to submit. He is the Holy Spirit. Despite the terrible warfare, you will be victorious because Lord Jesus has extended His sceptre of favour towards you.
